Waves of showers and thunderstorms will continue through this afternoon.  Tranquil conditions return by tonight and linger through tomorrow.  Unsettled and humid conditions take hold by the second half of the week.

TODAY

A cold front will slowly approach the region with waves of showers and thunderstorms.  Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 70s over the interior, upper 70s to lower 80s in the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island, and lower to mid-80s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

TONIGHT

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will become light and variable.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast.

TOMORROW

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the east at around 5 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s over the interior and from the lower to mid-80s along the coast.
