A lingering upper-level low-pressure system will keep scattered showers in the forecast through Friday morning.  Unsettled but overall dry conditions return for the weekend.

TONIGHT

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s over the interior and from the mid to upper 60s along the coast.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 70s over the interior and Long Island, and from the upper 70s to the lower 80s along the I-95 corridor.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A series of troughs will produce variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s over the interior and from the lower to mid-60s along the coast.

FRIDAY

A series of troughs will produce variable clouds and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the north at 1 to 5 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s over the interior and from the lower to mid-80s along the coast.

SATURDAY

A series of troughs will produce variable clouds and isolated showers. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and from the upper 60s to the lower 70s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-80s on Long Island and mid-80s elsewhere.

SUNDAY

A series of troughs will produce variable clouds and isolated showers. Low temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s over the interior and Long Island, and from the mid to upper 80s along the I-95 corridor.

A cold front will produce scattered showers.  Low temperatures will range from the mid- to upper 60s over the interior and from the upper 60s to the lower 70s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.

TUESDAY

A stationary front and waves of low pressure will produce variable clouds and scattered showers. Low temperatures will range from the mid- to upper 60s over the interior and from the upper 60s to the lower 70s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-80s over the interior and Long Island, and from the mid- to upper 80s along the I-95 corridor.

WEDNESDAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Low temperatures will range from the mid- to upper 60s over the interior and from the upper 60s to the lower 70s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-80s over the interior and Long Island, and from the upper 80s to the lower 90s along the I-95 corridor.
