Hazy, hot, and humid conditions, along with a dangerous heat index and isolated tropical thunderstorms, will be a threat today through the Independence Day Weekend!  A heat index well into the 100s will have a regionwide impact.

TODAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds, morning fog, and isolated thunderstorms.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to lower 90s in southeastern Long Island, mid to upper 90s in northwestern Long Island, upper 90s to mid-100s on the I-95 corridor, and mid to upper 90s over the interior.  A heat index around 110 degrees is possible.

TONIGHT

A trough will produce scattered clouds and morning fog.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-70s over the interior, mid to upper 70s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-80s in urban areas.

TOMORROW

WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the mid- to upper 50s over the interior, the lower to mid-60s in the suburbs, and the mid- to upper 60s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s along the coast and from the lower to mid-80s elsewhere.
