Hazy, hot, and humid conditions, along with a dangerous heat index and isolated tropical thunderstorms, will be a threat today through the Independence Day Weekend! A heat index well into the 100s will have a regionwide impact.

High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to lower 90s in southeastern Long Island, mid to upper 90s in northwestern Long Island, upper 90s to mid-100s on the I-95 corridor, and mid to upper 90s over the interior. A heat index around 110 degrees is possible.
