Clearing skies will gradually take hold as high pressure builds into the region.  Hazy, hot, and humid conditions return by next week with a dangerous heat index for the Fourth of July Weekend.

TODAY

A cold front will push off the coast with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s.

TONIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southeast at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s over the interior and from the lower to mid-60s along the coast.

TOMORROW

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southeast at 1 to 5 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-80s.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will exit the region with scattered clouds.  Winds will back to the southwest at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s.

A stationary front will produce scattered clouds and isolated thunderstorms.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-70s over the interior, mid- to upper 70s in the suburbs, and lower- to mid-80s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to the lower 90s over the interior, the mid-90s to the lower 100s along the I-95 corridor, and the mid- to upper 90s along the coast.   A heat index over 100 is expected.
