Sunshine returns today, but more unsettled conditions are on the way through the rest of the week.  Another winter storm is a threat for next week.

TODAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure will approach with increasing clouds.  Winds will veer to the southeast at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will produce scattered snow showers in the morning, mixing over to rain in the afternoon.  Winds will veer to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the lower 40s.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior, upper 10s to lower 20s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 20s in urban areas and along the coast.

THURSDAY

An area of low pressure will produce scattered rain and snow showers.  Winds will be from the east at 1 to 5 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid-30s to the lower 40s.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northeast at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid-30s to the lower 40s.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the mid-40s.

SUNDAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s.

MONDAY

A warm front will approach the region with increasing clouds and snow by the evening.  Low temperatures will range from the single digits to mid-10s.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s.

TUESDAY

A warm front will lift through the region, with periods of heavy snow transitioning to sleet and then rain.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to the lower 20s.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast.
