Waves of arctic air will continue to surge into the region with one of the coldest periods of the winter so far. Dangerous wind chills pose a high risk of frostbite and hypothermia through next week. While one snow threat misses tomorrow, another may be brewing for next weekend.
TODAY
High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds from the north at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior and mid to upper 10s along the coast.
TONIGHT
High pressure will exit the region with scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures will range from the single digits below zero to single digits over the interior, single digits to lower 10s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-10s along the coast.
TOMORROW
An area of low pressure will pass to the southeast of the region with scattered clouds over the interior, isolated flurries along and northwest of the I-95 corridor, and isolated snow showers southeast of the I-95 corridor. Little if any snow accumulation is expected, but snow showers could produce an isolated dusting to 1″. Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph for most of the region, 15 to 30 mph with gusts over 40 mph along the coast. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior and upper 10s to lower 20s along the coast.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds will be from the north at 10 to 20 mph. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to mid-10s.
MONDAY
High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds from the west at 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to mid-10s. High temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to mid-10s. High temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.

An area of low pressure will pass through the region with scattered snow showers. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to mid-10s. High temperatures will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to the lower 10s. High temperatures will range from the upper 10s to the lower 20s.

An area of low pressure will produce periods of snow. Low temperatures will range from the single digits to the lower 10s over the interior and lower to mid-10s along the coast. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and upper 10s to lower 20s along the coast.
