Strong wind gusts up to 50 mph, and heavy rain can be expected for tonight through the morning rush hour, followed by crashing temperatures in the afternoon and evening.  Wind damage, power outages, and urban flooding will be a threat through tomorrow afternoon.

TONIGHT

A strong cold front will approach with scattered showers becoming widespread.  Winds will be from the southeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts between 30 and 50 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast.

TOMORROW

The cold front will move through the region with heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms through the early afternoon.  Winds will veer to the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts between 30 and 50 mph.  Urban flooding, poor visibility, and power outages will be a threat.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast in the morning hours, and then fall through the 40s and 30s in the afternoon behind the cold front.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The cold front will exit the region with scattered clouds and a few snow showers.  Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts between 25 and 35 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior, upper 30s to lower 40s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-40s along the coast.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will pass to the north of the region with scattered clouds and a few isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast.

MONDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to lower 20s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce a snow-to-rain mix.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

WEDNESDAY: CHRISTMAS EVE

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast.

THURSDAY: CHRISTMAS

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 10s to lower 20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 20s to the lower 30s over the interior, and from the lower to mid-30s along the coast.
