An arctic blast is expected this evening into tomorrow morning with a few passing flurries.  A chilly but progressive weather pattern will remain in place through next week.

TONIGHT

A cold front will move through the region with scattered clouds and a few flurries, followed by clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the single digits to the lower 10s over the interior, mid to upper 10s in the suburbs, and upper 10s to the lower 20s in urban areas.

TOMORROW

High pressure will pass off the coast in the morning with clear skies.  An area of low pressure will pass to the south of the region with variable clouds and a few scattered snow showers.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The low-pressure system will exit into the Atlantic Ocean with scattered clouds and a few flurries.  Winds will be from the northwest at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.

SATURDAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

An area of low pressure will produce a wintry mix of rain and snow showers.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior, upper 20s to lower 30s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 30s in urban areas and along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior, mid to upper 30s in the New York City metropolitan areas, and upper 30s to lower 40s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and Long Island.
