A cold front today will kick-start a cold and active weather pattern through next week.  A winter storm is likely by Tuesday morning.  A cold and active weather pattern will continue through next weekend.

TODAY

An area of low pressure will move through the region with periods of rain/snow showers through this evening.  Some snow may result in minor snow accumulation of up to 1″ on cold surfaces.  Winds from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 40s to the lower 50s along the coast.

TONIGHT

High pressure will build into the region, producing scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

TOMORROW

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Winds will veer to the northeast at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to the lower 30s along the coast.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure will pass through the coastal waters, with snow showers developing throughout the region.  The snow will mix over to rain southeast of the I-95 corridor and a wintry mix along the I-95 corridor.  Snow will continue to the northwest of the I-95 corridor with snow accumulation.  Winds will be from the northeast at 1 to 5 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior, mid to upper 30s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 30s to the lower 40s along the coast.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will exit the coastal waters with periods of rain along the coast, a wintry mix along the I-95 corridor, and snow over the interior in the early morning.  Skies will clear by the afternoon and evening.  Winds will veer to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the 20s over the interior and 30s along the coast as the precipitation exits from west to east.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies.  Low temperatures will range from the single digits to the lower 10s over the interior, mid to upper 10s in the suburbs, and upper 10s to lower 20s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior, upper 20s to lower 30s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

SATURDAY

A cold front will produce periods of rain and snow.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior, upper 20s to lower 30s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-30s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast.

SUNDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior, mid to upper 20s in the suburbs, and upper 20s to lower 30s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.
