A cold front will bring waves of showers capable of heavy downpours late this evening through early tomorrow afternoon.  A return to seasonable conditions is expected over the weekend.  A coastal low-pressure system will be a threat by the end of this weekend.

TONIGHT

A cold front will approach the region, bringing periods of showers, which are expected to become widespread after 10 PM.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior, from the upper 50s to the lower 60s in the suburbs, and from the mid to upper 60s in urban areas and along the coast.

TOMORROW

The cold front will move through the region with periods of showers, heavy at times, through the morning.  The showers will exit from northwest to southeast in the early afternoon, followed by clearing skies.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the suburbs, and upper 40s to lower 50s in urban areas.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will veer to the north at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will veer to the southwest at 1 to 5 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid- to upper 30s over the interior, from the upper 30s to the lower 40s in the suburbs, and from the lower to mid-40s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s over the interior and from the lower to mid-60s along the coast.

SATURDAY
