An approaching cold front will produce the potential for intense downpours this evening through tomorrow morning, with localized flash flooding.  Hurricane Erin will continue to enhance wave heights, rip tides, and minor to moderate coastal flooding through Friday.

TONIGHT

A cold front and area of low pressure will move through the region with periods of showers capable of tropical downpours.  Rainfall rates of 1″ per hour will be possible at times.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast.

TOMORROW

The cold front will exit the region with lingering showers through the early afternoon.  Skies will clear towards evening.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph with gusts over 30 mph along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-70s.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph with gusts over 30 mph along the coast.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies.  Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 70s.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast.

SUNDAY
