A warmer weather pattern will gradually take hold through the week and into the Eastern weekend.  A few showers will be a threat from time to time, but no significant storms.

TODAY

A trough and warm front will lift through the region with increasing clouds and a few isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the lower 60s along the coast and the lower to mid-60s elsewhere.

TONIGHT

A trough will move through the region with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  The thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours and isolated lightning strikes.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the suburbs, and upper 40s to lower 50s in urban areas.
