A coastal storm is organizing to the south with rainfall slowly invading.  Unsettled conditions are expected through this weekend.

TODAY

An area of low pressure will approach the region with cloudy skies and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s along the coast, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure will produce waves of rainfall throughout the region.  A mix of rain and snow can be expected for elevations over 1,500 feet, with some minor snow accumulations on cold surfaces of a trace to one inch.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will produce steady rain in the morning, followed by cloudy skies and scattered showers in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the northeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.  Minor coastal flooding will be a threat.  High temperatures will be in the lower to mid-40s.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The area of low pressure will begin to exit with cloudy skies and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

SUNDAY

The area of low pressure will gradually exit the region with cloudy skies, drizzle, and widely scattered showers.  Winds will back to the north at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast.

MONDAY

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.

TUESDAY

A cold front will move through the region with scattered clouds and widely scattered showers in the morning.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the suburbs, and upper 40s to lower 50s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast.

WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast.
