A weak trough will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior, lower to mid-30s in the New York City metropolitan area, and mid to upper 30s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

TONIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the single digits to lower 10s over the interior, mid to upper 10s in the suburbs, and upper 10s to lower 20s in urban areas.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will approach with increasing clouds through the morning, followed by snow showers in the afternoon.  Steady snowfall is expected by the evening, with bursts of heavy snowfall in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey and light snow further north.  Winds will back from the northwest to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The area of low pressure will pass to the south of the coastal waters with periods of snow, heavy at times over southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, with up to 8″ of snow.  Snowfall under 4″ can be expected from the northern suburbs of Philadelphia through central New Jersey and points northward.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will exit the region with snow showers lingering in the morning, followed by variable cloud cover.  A warm front will follow in the evening with periods of rain in southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and central New Jersey and a wintry mix changing to rain in northeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, southeastern New York, and Connecticut.  Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s.

THURSDAY

An area of low pressure will lift through the region with scattered showers.  Winds will veer to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the New York City metropolitan area, and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior, mid to upper 10s in the suburbs, and upper 10s to lower 20s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.

SATURDAY

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior, upper 10s to lower 20s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 20s in urban areas.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure and an arctic cold front will produce periods of rain.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast.  High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid-40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-50s along the coast.

MONDAY
