Astronomical winter has started with a light snowfall this morning and an arctic blast through the rest of the weekend.  Flurries will remain a threat as well.  Snow showers are expected by Christmas Eve morning!

TODAY

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and flurries.  Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Highs in the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.  A windchill in the lower 10s to lower 20s can be expected.

TONIGHT

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and flurries.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the single digits over the interior and lower to mid-10s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and flurries.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for highs.
