An unsettled weather pattern will continue through the week with plenty of cloud cover, scattered showers, and morning fog.  More sunshine is expected by next week.

TONIGHT

A stationary front will linger over the region with overcast skies, drizzle, and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior, mid to upper 50s in the suburbs, and upper 50s to lower 60s in urban areas for lows.

TOMORROW

The stationary front will sink south with broken clouds and isolated showers in the morning.  Skies will clear from north to south in the afternoon.  Winds will veer to the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s along the coast, mid to upper 70s over the interior, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The stationary front will linger to the south of the region with scattered clouds.  Winds will veer to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid-50s on the coast and upper 50s to lower 60s away from the coast for lows.

WEDNESDAY

The stationary front will lift north as a warm front with scattered showers and overcast skies in the morning.  A cold front will follow in the afternoon with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  The thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours, occasional lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to lower 70s on Long Island, lower to mid-70s along the coast, upper 70s to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior for highs.

A series of troughs will linger over the region with broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast, mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-60s over the interior for highs.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s for lows and lower to mid-70s over the interior, lower to mid-70s along the coast, and mid to upper 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
