Showers and weakening thunderstorms will continue to press to the east this evening and bring the threat of rainfall before collapsing.  Unsettled conditions will continue for the rest of the week, but a break is expected by Friday.

A stationary front will linger over the region with variable cloud cover, scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms.  Winds will veer from the southwest to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and suburbs and upper 50s to lower 60s in urban areas for lows.

TOMORROW

The stationary front will linger over the coastal waters with variable cloud cover and widely scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s on Long Island, lower to mid-70s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.

A cold front will linger over the coastal water, with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-70s along the coast, mid to upper 70s over the interior, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TUESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 50s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-70s over the interior and along the coast and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front will produce periods of showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-70s over the interior, lower to mid-70s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
