Sunny skies will continue for most of the Easter weekend, but a stormy weather pattern is on the way through much of next week as waves of rainfall will be on the way.

TODAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure will pass through the region with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid-30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will pass through the region in the morning with broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  The skies will clear in the afternoon.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior, mid to upper 50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Scattered clouds can be expected.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior, mid to upper 30s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-40s in the urban areas for lows.

MONDAY

A warm front will approach the region, bringing overcast skies and increasing showers. Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s for highs.

TUESDAY

A warm front will stall over the region with waves of rainfall.  Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, lower to mid-40s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 40s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the New York City metropolitan area, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain and windy conditions.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

The low pressure system will exit the region with lingering rain/snow showers over the interior and showers along the coast.  Some snow accumulation will be possible for the highest elevation on cold surfaces.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior, upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast, and mid to upper 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
