Waves of rainfall will continue this evening through tomorrow with some minor urban flooding possible.  Skies clear in time for the end of the week and the weekend.

TONIGHT

Waves of showers will continue as a cold front gradually moves through the region.  Winds will veer from the southwest to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

The cold front will move into the coastal waters with scattered showers over the interior and waves of rainfall along and east of the Delaware River to the coast.  The heaviest rainfall will be found over southeastern New Jersey and eastern Long Island with over 1.50″ of rain possible.   Winds will back to the north-northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s along the coast and mid to upper 50s over the interior for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Skies will clear from west to east as the cold front exits.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

FRIDAY

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure and stationary front will produce broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, lower to mid-40s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 40s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

MONDAY

A warm front will approach the region with overcast skies and increasing showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior, mid to upper 50s in the suburbs, and upper 50s to lower 60s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior, upper 50s to lower 60s in the New York City metropolitan area, and mid to upper 60s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce clearning skies.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and mid to upper 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
