A slow-moving cold front will produce increasing clouds and widely scattered showers tonight.  Steady rainfall is expected on Thursday morning, with heavier rainfall along the coast.

TONIGHT

Clouds will continue to increase, with isolated showers.  Winds will veer from the northeast to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A cold front will approach from the west with overcast skies and scattered showers.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Waves of showers will continue as a cold front gradually moves through the region.  Winds will veer from the southwest to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

THURSDAY

A cold front will exit the region with periods of rain in the morning, pushing off the coast.  Cloudy but dry conditions can be expected to the west and northwest of I-95 in the afternoon.  Scattered showers will linger along the coast, while steady rain can be expected over eastern Long Island and southeastern Connecticut in the afternoon.   Winds will back to the north-northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s along the coast and mid to upper 50s over the interior for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure and stationary front will produce broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, lower to mid-40s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 40s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

A warm front will approach the region with overcast skies and increasing showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior, mid to upper 50s in the suburbs, and upper 50s to lower 60s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior, upper 50s to lower 60s in the New York City metropolitan area, and mid to upper 60s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.
