Cold and dry conditions will continue through tomorrow morning, but clouds will increase as a rainstorm invades tomorrow night into Saturday.  Areas of urban and small stream flooding will be a threat as 1″ to 3″ of rain can be expected.

TONIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 10s to lower 20s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

High pressure will exit the region with increasing cloud cover.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior, lower to mid-40s along the coast, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An area of low pressure will approach with increasing clouds and rain after midnight.  Winds will back to the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

SATURDAY

A cold front and area of low pressure will produce periods of moderate to heavy rainfall.  Areas of small stream and urban flooding will be a threat along with visibility below 2 miles at times.  Winds will back from the southeast to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s in the higher elevations, mid-40s to lower 50s in the northwestern suburbs, and mid to upper 50s on the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

High pressure will produce clearing skies.  Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.

TUESDAY

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front will approach from the west with scattered clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-50s for highs.

THURSDAY

A warm front will approach from the Atlantic Ocean, with overcast skies, scattered showers, and windy conditions.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers and windy conditions.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.
