An area of low pressure developing in the Ohio River Valley will approach tonight and exit tomorrow morning with periods of light to moderate snowfall. This will be a dry snowfall type. The following is a timeline for the snowfall.
THROUGH 10 PM
Clouds will increase with a flurry possible towards central Pennsylvania.
10 PM TONIGHT TO 2 AM TOMORROW
Light snow will develop throughout the region, becoming steady in southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Central and Southern New Jersey, and Delaware. Snow showers will develop further north.
2 AM TO 8 AM TOMORROW
Light snow will continue over northeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, the New York City metropolitan area, and Long Island. Snow showers from the Catskills through the Hudson River Valley and Connecticut can be expected. Bursts of moderate to heavy snow can be expected throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, central New Jersey, and southern New Jersey. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast.
8 AM to 12 PM TOMORROW
The snow will exit the region with clearing skies from west to east.
