Showers will slowly drop through the region as cooler air invades from the Great Lakes.  A break in the showers is expected for the Ghouls and Ghosts, but return by Wednesday.

A stationary front will linger over the coastal waters with overcast skies and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-50s to lower 60s over the interior, mid-60s to lower 70s in the New York City metropolitan area, and mid to upper 70s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.

TONIGHT

High pressure will build into the region while a stationary front off the coast with clearing skies from north to south with isolated showers on the coast.  Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

An area of low pressure will develop over the coastal waters with scattered showers along the coast and a mix of snow, sleet, and rain showers over the higher elevations above 1,500 feet.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will produce clear skies and scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY

A cold front will pass through the region with isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, lower to mid-60s along the coast, and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
