A wet weather pattern will continue through the first half of the week with the potential for flash flooding.  A cooler, drier period of weather is expected to follow into the weekend.

TODAY

A stationary front with waves of low pressure will produce waves of showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy downpours.  Flash flooding and visibility below a mile will be a threat.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

A stationary front will produce variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A trough will linger over the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers in the morning.  A cold front will approach with scattered showers in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior and along the coast and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A cold front will approach with overcast skies and increasing coverage of showers and thunderstorms capable of intense downpours, flash flooding, and visibility below a mile at times.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front and area of low pressure will produce widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of intense downpours, flash flooding, and visibility below a mile at times.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will build into the region with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to mid-60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY
