The impressive rainstorm that produced rainfall amounts over 7″ in some locations will continue to pull away from the region with a few lingering showers through today.  An active weather pattern will continue through next weekend.

The cold front will push off the coast with variable cloud cover and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-80s along the coast for highs.

A trough will linger over the region with low clouds, fog, and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows.
