The poor air quality will continue through tomorrow morning, but improvement is on the way along with some showers and thunderstorms.

TONIGHT

A trough will linger over the region with scattered clouds.  The air quality will begin to improve as winds back away from the forest fire source by the morning hours.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A trough will linger over the region with low clouds and fog in the morning followed by scattered clouds and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Winds will veer to the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley, lower to mid-80s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s in Long Island for highs.

A trough will produce areas of low clouds and fog.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper-60s along the coast for lows.
