An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers and thunderstorms.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area and lower to mid-50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey.

TONIGHT

The low-pressure system will exit with periods of showers followed by clearing skies towards morning.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered clouds with winds from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows.

MONDAY

An area of low pressure will approach the region with increasing clouds and showers towards the evening.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure will exit with showers in the early morning followed by clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s along the coast, and mid to upper 50s in the Delaware River Valley.

WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.
