A hot and humid air mass will continue to invade the region today ahead of a cold front that will bring more showers and thunderstorms tomorrow.  Excellent weather returns for the weekend.

TODAY

The warm front will shift north with variable clouds, isolated showers, and thunderstorms.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s along the coast, mid to upper 80s over the interior, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TONIGHT

Variable clouds with isolated showers are expected.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

A cold front will approach the region with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s along the coast, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The cold front will move through the region with showers and thunderstorms.  A few thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours that may produce flash flooding.  Winds will veer to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and the mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows.

SATURDAY

High pressure will build into the region, with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s for highs.

THURSDAY

Hazy, hot, and humid conditions are expected, with an isolated thunderstorm possible in the afternoon.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows and upper 80s to lower 90s along the coast and lower to mid-90s away from the coast for highs.
