A stalling warm front will set the stage for waves of rainfall tonight through the rest of the week with the potential for flash flooding and urban flooding throughout much of the region.

TODAY

A warm front will approach the region with increasing clouds through the morning followed by showers this afternoon.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s over the interior and mid to upper 70s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

The warm front will stall over the region with periods of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s for lows.

TOMORROW 

A stationary front will hold over the region with periods of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The stationary front will continue to support periods of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

THURSDAY

The stalled frontal boundary will remain in place with overcast clouds and scattered showers.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to mid-70s for highs.

FRIDAY

A cold front will pass through the region with scattered to broken clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY 

An area of low pressure will linger over the coastal water with scattered to broken cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will produce overcast cloud cover and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

MONDAY

A strong cold front will produce periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-70s over the interior, mid to upper 70s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TUESDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for highs.
