Another warm front will approach from the south while a thunderstorm complex in the Ohio River Valley approaches for this afternoon and evening. The thunderstorms will be capable of intense downpours, frequent lightning, hail, and wind gusts over 65 mph. The timing of the thunderstorm impact from west to east will be from 2 PM to 9 PM. Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to mid-70s on Long Island, mid-70s to lower 80s on the coast, upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
TONIGHT
Thunderstorms will exit, followed by low clouds and fog towards morning. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to mid-60s on Long Island, lower to mid-60s over the interior, and mid-60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for lows.
TOMORROW
Hot and humid conditions will be in place, with areas of fog giving way to scattered clouds and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s on the coast, upper 80s to lower 90s over the interior, and lower to mid-90s in the Delaware River Valley. A heat index in the mid to upper 90s is expected.

Areas of low clouds and fog can be expected with winds from the southwest at 5 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid-60s to lower 70s for lows.
