Increasing shear is now impacting the structure of Leslie and causing the storm to steadily weaken.  The convection is weakening as the cloud tops gradually warm from the edges of the storm to the central dense overcast.  The vertical wind shear will continue to increase as a trough approaches from the central Atlantic.  Leslie will turn to the north and northeast by Friday while transitioning into an extratropical storm.
