* WHAT...Freezing rain and snow expected. Ice accumulations of up
  to a quarter of an inch with snow accumulation up to an inch.


* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Untreated surfaces will become slippery as ice and
  snow begin to accumulate.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain will continue early this
  morning generally above 1500 feet. Precipitation may briefly
  change to a period of all rain around sunrise before mixing with
  or changing to wet snow by the mid to late morning.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Additional snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations up to a
  tenth of an inch expected. Localized snow amounts up to 4
  inches across the hilltops.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Pike, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Southern
  Wayne and Northern Wayne counties. In New York, Sullivan
  county.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A mix of rain, sleet and higher elevation
  freezing rain will transition to mainly wet snow for a time mid
  to late morning. The snow ends from west to east by early
  afternoon. Snow rates could occasionally be up to 1 inch per
  hour at times over the higher terrain. Temperatures will be
  hovering between 30 to 35 degrees through the event.
