Excellent weather can be expected this afternoon. A series of cold fronts will bring a step down to colder weather, especially on Tuesday, when snow flurries will be a threat down to the coast!
TODAY
A cold front will exit the region in the morning with lingering showers, followed by clearing skies. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast.
TONIGHT
High pressure will pass over the region with scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at 1 to 5 mph. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast.
TOMORROW
A cold front and area of low pressure will produce periods of showers in the afternoon and evening. Winds will back to the southeast at 10 to 20 mph. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior, lower to mid-60s in the New York City metropolitan areas and northern Philadelphia suburbs, and mid to upper 60s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas and southern New Jersey.
TOMORROW NIGHT
A cold front will move through the region with waves of showers. Winds will veer to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior, lower to mid-40s in the Delaware River valley, and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast.
MONDAY
A cold front will exit in the morning with lingering showers, followed by clearing skies and isolated rain/snow showers. Winds will veer to the west at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures will be in the late morning, ranging from the mid to upper 30s over the interior, lower 40s to lower 50s along the Delaware River, and mid to upper 50s along the coast. Temperatures will fall through the 40s and 30s in the afternoon and evening.
TUESDAY
A series of troughs will produce scattered rain/snow showers. Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast.
WEDNESDAY
A series of troughs will produce scattered rain/snow showers. Low temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast.
THURSDAY
