Fog and low clouds will give way to scattered showers this afternoon.  Heavy rainfall will invade tonight through tomorrow, with strong wind gusts over 30 mph.

TODAY

A stationary front will produce cloudy skies and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure and cold front will approach, with showers increasing in coverage towards morning.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain for most of the region and a mix of rain and snow over the higher elevations by the evening.  Winds will veer from the southeast to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An area of low pressure and a cold front will produce waves of moderate to heavy rainfall.  The rain/snow mix over the interior will change over to snow in the Poconos, Catskills, Hudson Highlands, and Hudson River Valley.  Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph.  Temperatures will crash into the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast for lows.

THURSDAY

The low-pressure system will exit in the morning with periods of snow in the Poconos, Catskills, and Hudson Highlands, while rain will mix over to snow for the rest of the region before ending.  The skies will clear in the afternoon, with a few flurries possible into the coastal plain.  Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 20s over the interior, lower to mid-30s in the Delaware River Valley, and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

Scattered clouds are expected.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

Scattered clouds are expected.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 30s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will approach with increasing clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior, lower to mid-50s in the Delaware River Valley, and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure and stationary front will produce periods of moderate to heavy rain.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.
