After one storm exits the region this evening, another rainstorm will invade on Wednesday, followed by windy and cold conditions on Thursday.

TONIGHT

Rain will linger through the evening, followed by scattered clouds and isolated showers after midnight.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An area of low pressure and a cold front will approach the region with increasing clouds and showers after midnight.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain for most of the region and a mix of rain and snow over the higher elevations by the evening.  Winds will veer from the southeast to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

The low-pressure system will exit in the morning with periods of snow in the Poconos, Catskills, and Hudson Highlands, while rain will mix over to snow for the rest of the region before ending.  The skies will clear in the afternoon, with a few flurries possible into the coastal plain.  Winds will veer to the west at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 20s over the interior, lower to mid-30s in the Delaware River Valley, and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

Scattered clouds are expected.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

Scattered clouds are expected.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s for highs.

SUNDAY
