The first day of winter will feel like winter, with temperatures in the 20s and 30s for highs along with a few flurries.  An Alberta Clipper on Wednesday night can produce some light snow for the region with even some minor accumulation on the coast.

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and snow showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and snow showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 10s to lower 20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast for lows.

SUNDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior, mid to upper 30s in the New York City metropolitan area, and upper 30s to lower 40s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.
