Clouds will increase as an area of low pressure approaches the region. Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

A mix of rain and snow will change over to snow in the Poconos and Catskills, with some snowfall accumulation expected for elevations over 1,200 feet. Winds will veer to the south at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid-30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid-40s to lower 50s in the New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.
