Weak high pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid-40s for lows.

TOMORROW

A warm front will approach the region with increasing clouds and showers developing towards evening.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An area of low pressure and occluded front will move through the region with waves of rainfall, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid-30s to lower 40s over the interior, lower to mid-40s in the suburbs, and upper 40s to lower 50s in urban areas for lows.

THURSDAY

An area of low pressure and an occluded front will produce waves of rainfall, heavy at times.  The rain will mix with snow towards the evening in the Poconos and Catskills.  Winds will veer from the east to the southwest at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 30s to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

A series of troughs will produce scattered showers for most of the region and snow showers in elevations above 1,000 feet in the Poconos and Catskills.  Snow accumulation is expected on cold surfaces only.  Winds will be from the west-southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

A series of troughs will produce variable clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure and a cold front will produce scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.
