High pressure will produce areas of fog in the morning, followed by scattered clouds in the afternoon and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to mid-80s on Long Island, upper 80s to lower 90s along the coast, and lower to mid-90s away from the coast for highs. A heat index in the mid-90s to mid-100s can be expected.

Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s in Connecticut and Long Island, upper 80s to lower 90s around the New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-90s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.
