There is strong support this afternoon for a line of strong to severe thunderstorms moving through the region in central Pennsylvania and western New York. These thunderstorms will approach eastern Pennsylvania after 8 PM and into the coastal plain after 10 PM but will steadily weaken and collapse while doing so. These thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours and frequent lightning in eastern Pennsylvania, then just some moderate rainfall after 10 PM in western New Jersey.
