An approaching cold front will produce waves of showers and thunderstorms this morning and begin an unsettled weather pattern through the Memorial Day Weekend.

TODAY

A cold front will pass through the region with scattered showers and thunderstorms through the morning.  The thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours, occasional lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph.  Scattered clouds with isolated showers are expected in the afternoon as the cold front stalls.  Winds will veer to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, mid to upper 70s along the coast, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TONIGHT

A cold front will slowly sink to the south of the region, with broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and suburbs and lower to mid-60s in urban areas for lows.

TOMORROW

A cold front will slowly sink to the south of the region, with broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, lower to mid-80s over the interior, and mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A stationary front will produce broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s over the interior, upper 50s to lower 60s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-60s in urban areas for lows.

SATURDAY

A stationary front will produce broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s along the coast and upper 70s to lower 80s away from the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

A stationary front will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-70s on Long Island, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-80s over the interior for highs.

An area of low pressure will move through with overcast skies in the morning, followed by scattered showers in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and the mid to upper 60s along the coast, the lower to mid-70s in the Delaware River Valley, and the upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior for highs.

A lingering cold front will produce scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and suburbs and mid to upper 60s in urban areas for lows and lower to mid-70s on Long Island, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A trough will linger over the region, bringing scattered clouds and isolated showers. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and the mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and the mid to upper 60s over the interior and the lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s along the coast, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
