Wavering frontal boundaries for much of this week will keep weather conditions unsettled with a wide range of high temperatures, cloud cover, and rainfall that will be a theme this week into next weekend.

TONIGHT

A trough lingering over the region will produce variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A warm front will remain stalled over the region with variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s on Long Island, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and over the interior, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The warm front will lift into New England with variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and suburbs and mid to upper 50s in urban areas for lows.

TUESDAY

A cold front will approach the region with scattered showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to lower 70s in Connecticut and Long Island, mid-70s to lower 80s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-80s in southeastern Pennsylvania, central New Jersey, and southern New Jersey for highs.

WEDNESDAY

The cold front will stall over the coastal waters with variable cloud cover and scattered showers.  Winds will veer from the southwest to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s in Connecticut and Long Island, upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-70s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey for highs.

THURSDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s over Connecticut and Long Island, upper 60s to mid-70s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and mid-70s to lower 80s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s on Long Island and mid to upper 60s for the rest of the region for highs.

SATURDAY

A cold front will move into the region with waves of showers and elevated thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s for lows and lower to mid-50s for highs.

SUNDAY

A cold front will linger over the region with overcast skies and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s for lows and lower to mid-50s on Long Island, upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-60s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey for highs.

MONDAY

A cold front will linger over the coastal water with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and suburbs and mid to upper 50s in urban areas for lows, and mid to upper 70s for highs.
