Rainfall will return to the region due to a warm front this evening and a cold front tomorrow morning.  A dry but chilly weekend will follow.

TODAY

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Showers will develop this evening as a warm front approaches.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and along the coast, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TONIGHT

A cold front will approach with periods of showers for most of the region and a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and rain for elevations above 1,500 feet in the Poconos and Catskills.  Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Showers will develop towards midnight.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and along the coast, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

A cold front will move through the region with showers and thunderstorms.  A few thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours, occasional lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid-50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and along the coast and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
