An area of low pressure will approach the region with rain by early morning. The rain will mix with and change over to snow in the higher elevations by the late-morning hours. Winds will be from the northeast at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs. TONIGHT
Periods of rain will continue along the coast, while snow will continue in the Poconos, Catskills, Hudson River Valley, and the Hudson Highlands. The rain will mix over to snow north and northwest of the I-95 corridor towards morning. Winds will back from the northeast to the northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows.
TOMORROW
The area of low pressure will exit the region with periods of snow over the interior, and rain changes to snow before ending along the coast in the morning. The skies will clear towards the afternoon and evening. Winds will back to the northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies. Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 10s over the interior and lower to mid-20s along the coast for lows.

High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.
