The new coastal-low pressure system will slowly exit tonight with lingering snowfall over the interior along with showers and drizzle along the coast.  A tranquil weather pattern takes hold for much of this week.

TONIGHT

Periods of showers and drizzle will continue along the coast, while snow will continue in the Poconos, Catskills, Hudson River Valley, and the Hudson Highlands.  The rain will mix over to snow north and northwest of the I-95 corridor towards morning.  Winds will back from the northeast to the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

The area of low pressure will exit with lingering rain and snow showers before 9 AM, followed by clearing skies.  Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will build into the region with clearing skies.  Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 10s to lower 20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast for lows.

TUESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid-30s to lower 40s for highs.

WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid-20s to lower 30s for lows and mid-30s to lower 40s for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and along the coast, and mid to upper 40s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

FRIDAY

A trough will pass through the region with scattered clouds and rain/snow showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

A trough will pass through the region with scattered clouds and snow showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior and upper 10s to lower 20s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to mid-30s along the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

Scattered clouds can be expected with a few flurries.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior and upper 10s to lower 20s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for highs.
