After some morning fog, excellent weather conditions will settle in for this Christmas Day.  A cold front and area of low pressure will bring the threat of moderate to heavy rainfall to the region by Wednesday.

CHRISTMAS DAY

High pressure will produce clear skies and scattered clouds.  Winds will be light and variable.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

CHRISTMAS NIGHT

High pressure will produce clear skies and scattered clouds.  Winds will be light and variable.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW

High pressure will exit with increasing clouds throughout the day.  An area of low pressure will produce the threat of isolated showers by the evening.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An area of low pressure will approach with overcast skies and showers developing towards morning.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-40s for lows.

A series of troughs will move through the region with widely scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.
