An area of low pressure will approach from the south with increasing clouds in the morning followed by waves of rainfall, heavy at times. Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts over 30 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

Flash flooding, poor visibility below 2 miles, power outages, downed trees, and wind damage are a threat. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows.

Coastal flooding will be a threat, especially along the New Jersey coast, with tides 1 to 4 feet above normal. Flash flooding, poor visibility below 2 miles, power outages, downed trees, and wind damage are a threat. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs in the morning and then fall through the 40s and 30s in the afternoon.
