An area of low pressure is approaching with waves of rainfall expected through early tomorrow morning.  An unsettled weather pattern will follow with yet another coastal storm by next weekend.

TODAY

An area of low pressure will redevelop over the coastal waters with rain developing and becoming heavy at times in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will veer to the northeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts over 25 mph.  Coastal flooding will be a threat.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure will intensify off the coast with periods of rain.  The heaviest rainfall will be found along the central and southern New Jersey coast.  The rain will begin to exit from north to southeast towards daybreak.  Winds will back from the northeast to the north at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will exit the region with periods of rain in the early morning giving way to scattered showers and scattered to broken cloud cover from north to southeast.  Winds will be from the north at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

An inverted trough will linger over the region with broken cloud cover and widely scattered showers. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows.

MONDAY

An inverted trough will linger over the region with broken cloud cover and widely scattered showers. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

An area of low pressure will approach the region with periods of rain, heavy at times, developing.  The heaviest rainfall is likely along the coast.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.
