A series of troughs and weak low-pressure system will keep the threat of scattered clouds and isolated showers in the forecast.  A significant coastal storm is likely for the weekend with heavy rain, strong winds, and coastal flooding that could linger into next week.

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s for lows.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.

An area of low pressure will redevelop over the coastal waters with rain developing in the afternoon and evening, heavy at times.  Winds will veer to the northeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts over 25 mph.  Coastal flooding will be a threat.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain, heavy at times, and windy conditions.  Coastal flooding will be a threat.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY

The low-pressure system will exit the region with a lingering trough, producing variable clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

A new low pressure will will produce periods of showers, heavy at times.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

WEDNESDAY

The low pressure system will exit the region with periods of rain.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.
