An approaching cold front is producing increasing cloud cover tonight and showers by tomorrow.  Heavier rain will be possible by tomorrow night through Saturday followed by a cool and unsettled weather pattern that will continue through next week.

TONIGHT

A cold front will slowly approach with increasing clouds through tomorrow morning.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s for lows.

TOMORROW

A cold front will approach the region with increasing clouds in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s over the interior and along the coast, and mid to upper 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The cold front will slowly move through the region with waves of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

SATURDAY

The cold front and a wave of low pressure will produce widespread showers over eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rainfall can be expected over eastern New York and Connecticut with heavy downpours.  Winds will veer from the southeast to the southwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s along the coast, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

A series of troughs will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for highs.
